1203-FM1 AB
The 1203-FM1 module is a Flex I/O SCANport module from Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation. It is designed to be installed on a special Allen Bradley 1203 series sled unit, and can only be installed on this specific sled unit. It cannot and should not be used with any other type of flexible base. The 1203-FM1 SCANport module can be safely removed or inserted when powered on, but please note that removing it while powered on may cause the SCANport device connected to it to malfunction. To install the 1203-FM1 SCANport module with or without power, turn the key switch on the 1203 base unit clockwise to position 1, ensure that the flexbus connector is pushed all the way to the left to connect to the adjacent base, and ensure that the pins at the bottom of the module are straight,
Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1203-FM1 Flex I/O SCANport modules sometimes require twice the adapter power supply current as standard flex modules, which limits the number of standard modules and the number of modules such as 1203-FM1 SCANport that can be installed in the same system. Up to four 1203-FM1 Flex I/O SCANport modules can be used with the same flexible adapter at one time. The module has an input voltage rating of 5 volts from a Flexbus adapter. Its dimensions are 1.8 x 3.7 x 2.1 inches, and its operating temperature range is 32 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, 5 to 80% non-condensable relative humidity. Its storage temperature range is – 40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit, and 5 to 95% non-condensable relative humidity.
