About 1794-TB3

1794-TB3 is a Flex I/O component manufactured by Allen Bradley. This component is specifically a Terminal Base unit, mainly used as a termination point for field devices and power supply devices. This module is also specifically used to host Flex I/O modules, 1794-IA8, 1794-IA8I, 1794-IA16, 1794-OA8, 1794-OA8I, 1794-OA16, 1794-IB8, 1794-IB16XT, 1794-IB10XOB6, 1794-IC16, 1794-IG16, 1794-IH16, 1794-IV16, 1794-OB8, 1794-OB8EP, 1794-OB8EPXT, 1794-OB16, 1794-OB16D, 1794-OB16P, 1794-OB16P, 1794-OB1 OC16, 1794-OG16, 1794-OG16 4-OV16, 1794-OV16P, 1794-OW8, and 1794-OW8XT. 1794-TB3 has three (3) terminal blocks. The top terminal strip consists of sixteen (16) terminals designated for input and output signal wiring. The middle and bottom terminals consist of eighteen (18) terminals, designated for common and voltage terminals- V Common is located in terminals B-16 and B-33+ The V (voltage input) terminal is located at terminals C-34 and C-5. For the daisy chain of nearby Flex I/O modules and terminal bases, the daisy chain terminals are located at C-34 (+) and B-16 (-) for power input and C-51 (+) and B-33 (-) for output. 1794-TB3 has screw clamp terminals. To install the terminal base, please tilt it slightly. Hang the terminal block on the top of the DIN rail to connect the back of the terminal block to the DIN rail. The terminal base hook must slide below the edge of the adapter module and the FlexBus connector must be engaged. Slide the terminal base tightly against the adjacent adapter. To lock the terminal block to the DIN rail,

Allen Bradley’s 1794-TB3 Flex I/O Terminal Base Unit is a device that provides terminal connection points for I/O wiring and helps form a backplane. It has a maximum of 16 I/O connections, 18 common terminals, and 18 voltage terminals. 1794-TB3 is used for applications with a 125V AC/DC electrical rating, with a maximum current capacity of 10A and 0.21 x 1.3 mm2 (24-16 AWG) stranded copper wire for input and output modules. The Flexbus of 1794-TB3 has a rated voltage of 5V DC and a current of 640mA, providing 2A current to the I/O terminals. It also has a V/COM terminal rating of 125V DC/AC and 10A at 50-60Hz.

1794-TB3 provides 125V (continuous) voltage isolation between the field wiring terminals to FLEXBUS using a basic insulation type, with terminal screw torque of 0.56 x 0.79 Nm (5 x 7lb in). It has a T4A (North America) specified temperature code and an IEC T4 temperature code. The IEC rated operating temperature for 1794-TB3 is -20-70 degrees Celsius. C (-4-158 degrees Fahrenheit) has been tested and rated to withstand 30G operating shock and 5G vibration at 10-500Hz at a non condensing relative humidity of 5-95%. 1794-TB3 has passed c-UL us, UL, CSA, and CE certifications, with dimensions of 94mm x 94mm x 69mm (3.7in x 3.7in x 2.7in).
