The 1794-IF2XOF2I FLEX I/O analog input, output, and combination module is a block transmission module that can connect analog signals to any Allen Bradley programmable controller with block transmission functionality. Block transfer programming inputs the input of module memory to a specified area in the processor data table, and outputs data words from the specified area in the processor data table to the module’s memory. Block transfer programming also moves configuration words from the processor data table to module memory.

The adapter/power supply of 1794-IF2XOF2I uses the BTW and BTR instructions in the ladder program to pass data in and out of the module. These instructions allow the adapter to obtain input values, status, and output values from the module, and determine the operating mode of the module.

Each module has a label that identifies its key switch position, wiring, and module type. Removable tags can be used to provide space for writing separate names for your application.
