125800-01 BENTLY

125800-01 is a Keyphasor I/O module developed by Bently Nevada. It is part of the 3500/25 Enhanced Keyphasor Module. The monitor module in the 3500 rack receives keyphasor signals from a half height dual channel module (referred to as the keyphasor module). When the keyphasor markings on the shaft align with the keyphasor sensor, the module uses a magnetic sensor or proximity probe to detect alignment and convert the input signal into a digital keyphasor signal. For regular settings, the 3500 mechanical protection system can accept up to four key signals, and for paired configurations, it can accept up to eight.

125800-01 Function Description

The key phasor signals generated by the rotating shaft or gear at one or multiple revolutions can be used to accurately identify timing. Therefore, the 3500 monitoring module and external diagnostic tools can measure shaft speed and vector characteristics, such as 1X vibration amplitude and phase.

The Enhanced Keyphasor Module is an enhanced 3500 system module. It improves the signal processing capabilities of the previously designed Keyphasor while maintaining full downward compatibility with the current Keyphasor module in terms of shape, fit, and functionality for use in older systems.

The Keyphasor module PWA 125792-01 has been completely replaced with the updated 149369-01 module. When Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) applications require system keyphasor inputs, the 3500 system should use two keyphasor modules. In this design, the modules function simultaneously to transmit the primary and secondary key signals to other modules in the rack.

features

As long as there are no more than four main keyphasor input signals, systems with more than four keyphasor inputs can be arranged in pairs. Paired design requires two continuous monitoring stations to be located at the upper/lower or two half slot positions.

The four Keyphasor modules will accept four main input channels and four backup input channels, and provide four output channels (one for each module). The configuration of two paired and one unpaired keyphasor module (a total of three keyphasor modules) is also possible. In this case, the user can configure a single unpaired keyphasor (order two 2-channel or one 1-channel and one 2-channel option)
