330130-040-00-00 is a 3300 XL standard extension cable manufactured by Bently Nevada. In addition, the 3300 XL probe and extension cable represent improvements to earlier models. Due to the proprietary TipLoc molding process, the bonding between the probe tip and the probe body is more secure. To achieve a stronger connection between the probe cable and the probe tip, the probe cable adopts a unique CableLoc design that can provide a tensile force of 330 N (75 lbf).
330130-040-00-00 Function Description
The 3300 XL 8mm probe and extension cable with FluidLoc cable option prevent oil and other liquids from leaking from the machine. The ClickLoc connector with corrosion-resistant gold plating is used for 3300 XL probes, extension cables, and proximity sensors. These connections can be tightened by hand to a certain extent (with a “click” sound when tightened) and locked in place through a specially designed locking mechanism. These connectors do not require any specialized equipment during installation or disassembly.
GE/Bently Nevada’s 3300 XL 8mm Proximity Sensor System includes an 8mm probe, an extension cable, and a Proximitor. The system measures static (position) and dynamic (vibration) measurements and provides an output voltage proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the observed conductive surface.
The main applications of this system are vibration and position measurement on fluid film bearing machines, as well as keyphase reference and velocity measurement. The standard 3300 XL 8mm 5m system also fully complies with the API 670 standard (4th edition) in terms of mechanical configuration, linear range, accuracy, and temperature stability. All 3300 XL 8mm proximity sensor systems offer this level of performance.
