330180-51-05 is a Proximitor Sensor developed by Bently Nevada. It is part of the Bentley Nevada 3300 series. The GE/Bently 3300 XL 5/8mm Proximitor is compatible with all 3300 and 3300 XL probes and comes in sizes of 5 and 8mm. The 3300 XL Proximitor has improved previous designs in various ways. Due to its physical packaging, it can be used in high-density DINrail systems. The sensor can also be installed in a classic panel mounting arrangement, with the same 4-hole installation “footprint” as the previous front-end design. The installation base of any option provides electrical isolation without the need for additional isolation plates.

The 3300 system is designed to fully meet the requirements of the American Petroleum Institute API 670 standard for such systems and provide continuous online monitoring suitable for mechanical protection applications.
The highly modular design of the system includes an instrument rack, an AC or DC power supply, a system monitor, and one or more monitoring modules selected to provide the required monitoring functions. Due to this modular design, the 3300 system can be flexible, scalable, and cost-effective as your monitoring needs evolve.

The 3300 XL Proximitor contains significant improvements from earlier types. Its physical packaging makes it suitable for high-density DIN rail settings. You can also place the sensor in the classic panel mounting position, which has the same 4-hole installation “footprint” as the previous front-end design. Both mounting bases provide electrical isolation and do not require a separate isolation plate. The 3300 XL Proximitor has strong resistance to RF interference, allowing you to install it in a fiberglass casing without worrying about interference from surrounding RF signals.
The enhanced RFI/EMI immunity of the 3300 XL Proximitor meets the European CE marking requirements, without the need for specific shielded conduits or metal enclosures, thereby reducing installation costs and complexity.
The SpringLoc terminal strip on the 3300 XL does not require special installation tools and achieves faster and more durable field wiring connections by eliminating possible loose screw type clamping devices.
