National Instruments PXI-6713 PXI Analog Output Module

The National Instruments PXI-6713 (part numbers 777795-01, 185860-01) analog output module can utilize its internal 20 MHz time base or time base received through the RTSI bus. In addition, if users want to design a small tool to utilize the internal time base, they can program the small tool to drive its internal time base to another small tool that has been modified to obtain the time base signal through the RTSI bus. The clock source, whether in the vicinity or from the RTSI bus, is directly used by the device as the basic loop source. The default design at startup is to use the internal time base without driving the RTSI bus time base signal (in this case, the base can be selected through software). Part numbers 185860-01 are applicable to the single board version of PXI-5713.

This device has 8 analog output channels with a resolution of 12 bits and a maximum update rate of 1 MS/s. Its analog output voltage range is -10 V to 10 V. The analog output signals on PXI-6713 are DAC0OUT, AOGND, and EXTREF. DAC0OUT is the voltage output signal of analog output channel 0, and EXTREF is the external reference input for all analog output channels. Users can use this input to reduce the voltage swing on the DAC output while protecting the dynamic range.

The two bars on the I/O connector provide+5 V from the PC control power supply through a self reset wire. After the overcurrent condition is eliminated, the wire will naturally reset for a few seconds. These pins are called DGND and can be used to control external computer hardware. All external control of the timing of the PXI-6713 analog output module is carried out through 10 programmable capacity inputs named PFI0 to PFI9. These PFIs are bidirectional. As outputs, they are not programmable and reflect the conditions for a large number of DAQ, waveform generation, and universal timing signals. The physical size of the NI device is 6.3 x 3.9 inches. Its recommended operating temperature range is 0 to 50 ° C, and its storage temperature range is -20 to 70 ° C.
