Automation system instruments connected to PQM II are connected to DCS or SCADA systems. The PQM II meter can be used as a stand-alone unit. The open architecture allows connections to connect to other ModBus® compatible devices on the same communication link. At a later stage PQM II can be integrated into complete system process monitoring throughout the plant.

 

The standard PQM II is complete with rear RS485 and front RS232 ports. The RS232 port can be used for data acquisition, printing reports or problem analysis interfering with the main RS485 communications rear interface.
