Allen Bradley 1746-A13 is a thirteen (13) slot chassis from the SLC500 programmable logic controller (PLC) platform. This chassis provides backplane connections and enclosures for the central processing unit (CPU), I/O, communication, and dedicated modules, as well as system power supplies.
1746-A13 comes with eight (8) installation tabs for installing the chassis directly onto the sub panel of the enclosure. When installing a module to a subpanel, the appropriate screws are M4 or M5 (# 10 or # 12) Phillips screws. The recommended minimum installation clearance is 15.3 cm (6.0 inches) at the top and>10.2 cm (4.0 inches) at the side. When used with rack extension cables such as 1746-C7, the minimum spacing is 7.7 to 10.2 centimeters (3.0 to 4.0 inches).
