1746-HS AB
About 1746-HS
Allen Bradley 1746-HS is an IMC 110 motion control module for SLC 500 systems. It has 24 VDC input and output, and the backplane current is 300 mA at 5 VDC and 104 mA at 24 VDC. The input frequency is 300 kHz, the update time is 4.8 ms, the step response input is 100 ms, and the output is 2.5 ms. It requires a slot to be installed in the SLC 500 system chassis and is compatible with all SLC processors except SLC 5/01 and SLC 5/02 processors. Depending on the application of incremental, absolute, or speed movements, the 1746-HS can be programmed.
The 1746-HS Motion Control Module uses an Offline Development System (ODS) that allows users to create, edit, and record Adjustable Machine Parameters (AMP) and Motion Management Language (MML) files using a compatible computer. For communication, it uses the RS-485 port to directly download AMP and MML files. It also supports restoring backup items for later use.
The 1746-HS module constantly uses I/O updates to let the SLC understand its working process. It must be as close as possible to the SLC processor for better functionality and suitable for clean and dry environments. The device operates at temperatures ranging from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and has a 30 g operating impact.
