The Allen Bradley 1756-EN2TXT bridge provides EtherNet/IP network communication and control in temperatures ranging from -25 to 70 ° C (-13 to 158 ° F). It is the ControlLogix-XT product series for the 1756 ControlLogix communication module. It is installed in the backplane to link or route control and information data – supporting real-time I/O messaging and message exchange. It has 128 TCP connections, 256 CIP/Logix connections, and 128+128 CIP unconnected messages (backplane+Ethernet)

 

The 1756 EN2TXT Ethernet bridge has a 10/100 Mbps network communication rate. It supports SNMP (requires a password) and comes with socket services. Its packet rate capacity is 10000 I/O and 2000 HMI/MSG packets per second. When used with the 1756-L7x ControlLogix controller, it can support up to 8 integrated movements on the EtherNet/IP network axis, and its I/O packet rate capacity increases to 25000 packets per second.
