You can also create custom web pages that are suitable for your application through this module. Using ASP functionality, you can use real-time controller data to fill your webpage. This feature is limited as the 1756-EWEB module can only store up to 5 MB of web pages and data views. You can also create email messages through the embedded email editor of the 1756-EWEB module and send emails initiated by the Logix controller using the MSG instruction. Please note that when you use the interface to send emails, you need to enter all email information every time. You can also open TCP or UDP communication links with other standard Ethernet devices through this module. A 1756-EWEB module can support up to 128 CIP connection messages for bridging messages, any combination of ASP function calls and data calls, and 32 terminal node connections.
