Allen Bradley 1756-TBCH is a detachable terminal block (RTB) for the 1756 I/O module. It is an I/O module accessory and must be ordered separately. 1756-TBCH can flexibly interconnect 1756 I/O modules and industrial factory wiring. It plugs into the front end of the I/O module.
The 1756-TBCH removable terminal block is a 36 pin cage clamp with a standard housing (the depth of the terminal arm is 2.5 square millimetre). When terminating the signal to the RTB, the required torque is 0.5 Nm of screw torque. It is recommended to use a screwdriver with a width of 3.2 millimeters (1/8 inch). It measures 5.51 x 4.41 x 5.71 inches and weighs 0.3 pounds. For wiring, please use solid or stranded copper wire rated at 90 degrees. A gauge with a maximum insulation material of 1.2 millimeters (3/64 inches) must be used at a temperature of 194 degrees Celsius (194 degrees Fahrenheit) or higher. The wire diameter must be 0.33 – 2.1 square millimetre (22 – 14 AWG) for single wire connections and 0.33 – 1.3 square millimetre (22 – 16 AWG) for double wire connections Do not connect more than two wires on any single terminal.
Each ControlLogix I/O module can be installed in any ControlLogix chassis and requires a removable terminal block (RTB) to connect all field side wiring. Each I/O module has many applications, from high-speed digital processing to process control. In the ControlLogix architecture, producer consumer technology is used to share input and output states between multiple controllers in the same or different chassis. 1756-TBCH RTB is suitable for clean and dry industrial environments at 0-60 degrees Celsius. RTB must be ordered separately. Depending on the module, appropriate RTBs are required, but 1756-TBCH supports most 1756 ControlLogix modules.
