Allen Bradley 1764-LSP is a MicroLogix 1500 processor. This controller integrates 7K user program capacity. The memory size is the sum of 3.65 KB of user program and 4 KB of user data. The size of these programs and data files is user configurable, with a maximum user data capacity of 4K words. The processor memory also stores user specified function files as configuration data for system resources.
For 1K word programs (including counters, bits, mathematical instructions, and timers), the program execution time of the 1764-LSP MicroLogix 1500 processor is approximately 1 millisecond. Long integer data files (32-bit signed integers,+/-2 billion) can be created for embedded high-speed I/O and mathematical instructions. Floating point data files can also be developed. Each file can contain up to 256 IEEE-754 floating point data elements.
The 1764-LSP processor has a non isolated RS-232-C port and supports ASCII, DF1 half duplex, DF1 full duplex, DH-485, and Modbus protocols. It has two built-in trim potentiometer with a digital output range of 0-250 volts. These 3/4 turn analog potentiometer can easily and quickly adjust counters, setpoints, and timers. 1764-LSP can be installed with MicroLogix basic units such as 1764-24AWA, 1764-24BWA, and 1764-28BXB. The processor can install the following real-time clocks and memory module: 1764-MM1, 1764-MM2, 1764-MM3, 1764-MM1RTC, 1764-MM2RTC, 1764-MM3RTC, 1764-RTC. The MicroLogix 1500 RTC module comes with a lithium battery to maintain memory.
1764-LSP is a MicroLogix 1500 controller manufactured by Allen Bradley. This controller supports the installation of up to eight (8) local I/O modules, as well as the installation of up to sixteen (16) Compact I/O modules for post expansion. This controller supports a maximum of 512 inputs and outputs, which is the ideal I/O range for small machine or process applications. The MicroLogix 1500 controller is an outdated product, therefore it is only provided as a spare part. 1764-LSP was announced to be discontinued on June 30, 2017.
