About 1769-L16ER-BB1B

Allen Bradley 1769-L16ER-BB1B is a processor module, which is also part of Allen Bradley CompactLogix 5370 L1 Programmable Automation Controller series, with the limitation of 4 EtherNet nodes. Using a single IP address, the controller can connect to an EtherNet network with dual built-in communication ports. The 1769-L16ER-BB1B module comes with an integrated switch that supports linear, traditional star, and DLR (device level ring network) topologies. Its DLR function enhances its network resilience. It can read structured text, function blocks, relay ladder diagrams, and SFC programming language.

The Allen Bradley 24 volt DC 1769-L16ER-BB1B controller provides users with an embedded I/O module with 16 drain type digital input points and 16 source type digital output points. It also supports up to six 1734 Point I/O local expansion modules. If the user is using expansion modules, these additional modules should be installed on the right side of the controller and linked within the same system. The total current consumption of embedded I/O and local expansion modules should not exceed the available 1 ampere backplane current and the 3 ampere field power supply current of POINTbus. The 1769-L16ER-BB1B DIN Rail Installation PAC supports up to 100 programs for each of 32 consecutive or periodic tasks. It has a high-performance capacity of 32 slots and up to 256 controllers, with 120 TCP,

1769-L16ER-BB1B supports up to 32 controller tasks. Each task can be configured with 100 consecutive programs. The built-in two (2) Ethernet communication allows the controller to connect to linear, star, and device level ring (DLR) topologies and be able to communicate with four (4) nodes of the Ethernet device.

1769-L16ER-BB1B has built-in sixteen (16) channels of 24VDC input points and sixteen (16) 24VDC controller outputs. This allows for out of the box configuration of controllers and execution of machine and process automation. In addition, I/O points can be expanded by installing up to six (6) 1734 point I/O modules locally.
