1794-AND AB
About 1794-ADN
Allen Bradley 1794-ADN is a 24 VDC DeviceNet media adapter module. It supports up to 8 Flex I/O modules and communication rates of 125 Kbps, 250 Kbps, and 500 Kbps. The status indicator in 1794-ADN allows users to monitor I/O and ModNet status.
The 1794-ADN has an open housing that supports DIN rail or panel mounting. It also comes with one (1) DeviceNet port that uses an open 5-pin or 10-pin linear plug. The size of the entire 1794-ADN module is 3.7 x 3.6 x 3.4 inches. Its power port uses Class 1 cables, while its communication port uses Class 2 cables.
The power current load of this adapter module is 400 mA (24 V), while its DeviceNet rated power is 24 V DC (90 mA). It has a nominal input voltage of 24 VDC and a maximum FlexBus output current of 640 mA at 5 VDC. Its input voltage range is 19.2 to 31.2 VDC, which includes 5% AC ripple. The maximum current consumption of the 1794-AND module at 24 VDC is 400 mA. The maximum power requirement of the DeviceNet module at 90 mA is 24 VDC (+/-4%). 1794-ADN has been type tested for 60 seconds at 1930 volts DC voltage and has a continuous isolation voltage of 50 volts. It has a maximum power consumption of 7.6 watts at 19.2 volts DC and a thermal dissipation of 26 BTU/hour at 19.2 volts DC. Its operating temperature range is -4 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit, while its storage temperature range is -40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. The vibration level of 1794-ADN is 5 g at 10 to 500 Hz, the working impact level is 30 g, and the non working impact level is 50 g.
1794-ADN supports the installation of up to eight (8) Flex I/O modules in any combination. It has a power requirement of 24 VDC, and the nominal value must be able to provide a starting surge current of 14A for 5 milliseconds. The appropriate power supply voltage range is 19.2-31.2VDC, 400 mA, and this module provides a FlexBus output current of 5V DC, 640 mA.
