The 3500/15 is a high-voltage AC/DC power supply module developed by Bently Nevada. This component is a half height module and must be installed in the designated slot on the left side of the rack. This component serves as a power module for the Bently Nevada mechanical condition monitoring system. The Legacy 3500 AC power supply, high-voltage AC PIM, and low-voltage AC PIM are not compatible with general-purpose AC power supplies and PIMs (power input modules). The Legacy 3500 high-voltage and low-voltage DC power supplies and PIMs are not compatible with the Legacy 3500 high-voltage and low-voltage DC power supplies and PIMs.
3500/15 Features
A 3500 rack can accommodate one or two AC and DC power supplies in any combination. The entire rack can be powered from any power source. When two power supplies are placed in a rack, one of the bottom slots is used as the primary power supply, and one of the higher slots is used as a backup power supply. If a second power supply is installed, it serves as a backup power supply for the first power supply. As long as a second power supply is installed, removing or inserting any power supply module will not affect the operation of the rack. AC and DC power supplies accept various input voltages and convert them to voltages that other 3500 modules can use. The 3500 Series Machinery Protection System is equipped with the following power supplies:
