Some power supplies in PLCs are integrated with CPU modules, while others are separate. Their main purpose is to provide working power for the integrated circuits of each PLC module. At the same time, some also provide 24V working power supply for the input circuit. The power supply has the following input types: AC power supply, with added AC 220V or 110VAC, DC power supply, with added DC voltage, and commonly used 24V.

Most modular PLCs use a backplane or rack, which is used to electrically connect various modules and enable the CPU to access all modules on the backplane. Mechanically, it enables connections between modules and forms a whole.

Programming equipment: There are simple programmers and intelligent graphic programmers used for programming, setting system settings, and monitoring the working conditions of PLC and the systems controlled by PLC. Programmer is an indispensable component for PLC development, application, monitoring, operation, inspection and maintenance, but it does not directly participate in on-site control operation.
