UR8NH GE
The universal relay system is equipped with standard operating procedures for completing health diagnostic testing under startup conditions. These advanced device health diagnostics continue even under operating conditions to monitor the functionality and hardware of general-purpose relays. The UR-8NH is a special type of CT/VT module that can be included in a general-purpose relay Multilin unit. The CT/VT module can provide up to 24 analog CT or VT inputs for general-purpose relays. Monitor these inputs to confirm the validity of the signal to ensure integrity. Universal relays also record internal DC voltage levels for proactive maintenance. The UR-8NH is a newer version of the CT/VT module used in the Multilin universal relay system. This specific order code (UR-8NH) belongs to the 8N description, which means that this CT/VT module has a standard 8CT with enhanced diagnostic functionality. If the CT/VT has a sensitive grounding capability, then general-purpose relays will also be able to obtain ground fault protection added to the capabilities included above.
